About

After taking a Graphic Design degree at Coventry Polytechnic where he specialised in Animation,  John worked for 10 years in film and advertising, initially with the BBC at their studios in Birmingham and later as an Animator and Director in London.

 

A move to the wide open spaces of New Zealand saw him living with his wife on a rural property in the Far North, with a menagerie of dogs, cats and chickens. While there he illustrated children’s books for international publishing houses and provided storyboards and cartoons for magazines and advertising agencies.

Now back in the UK, John is available for book illustration work and private commissions, including portraits and caricatures, as well pictures of special pets and places.
